San Gabriel Valley is home to the MLBy, kicking off the inaugural season and making it the template for a nationwide rollout. The initial league will feature 40 teams, representing the major cities and neighborhoods within the San Gabriel Valley.

MLBy is a competitive youth baseball league catered to the most dedicated players. The league is sponsored by Major League Baseball in association with Little League Baseball. The league hosts camps and clinics, featuring MLB and MiLB players as special guests. The league offers full stat tracking, league leaders, yearly awards, All-Star weekend, a scouting pipeline, and much more...

MLBy provides an alternative to travel baseball that is accessible to all families, who have a driven and dedicated player, regardless of socioeconomic background.

The league proudly promotes diversity and rewards all players based on merit, effort, and attitude. The MLBy is filled with dedicated and driven players who push themselves to meet their full potential. These select players have the opportunity to experience a fully immersive, dynamic, and recorded baseball career.

The inaugural season kicked off a 13U league, with a minimum age of 12. Each season new leagues will be added and after a 5-year rollout the league will consist of 3 primary sub-leagues: 13U, 15U, and 17U.

MLBy becomes the "Majors" for Little League, with only 10% - 20% of players making it into the league. MLBy has the goal of not only developing baseball skills but supporting the growth of the next generation. For players who have aspirations to continue their career at the collegiate level, MLBy helps streamline the process for both the player and the college baseball programs. Through the leagues Scouting Pipeline, college coaches and scouts from around the country are provided access to MLBy's password protected Scouting Pipeline database.

Within the database coaches and scouts have access to PLAYER PROFILES, SCOUTING REPORTS, HIGHLIGHT REELS, and CAREER STATISTICS. With players stats and intangibles being tracked from 13U through 17U, coaches and scouts can see how each player projects. Having detailed information, from GPA to Exit Velocity and game footage, gives coaches and scouts valuable evaluation tools. This information provides the player with a recorded baseball career, as well as assisting in the recruiting process for college baseball programs.

Entrance into MLBy is based on a scouting combine and essay. Potential players may also be required to complete a questionnaire, baseball IQ evaluation test and interview. Entry also requires that the player maintain a 3.0 GPA with their academic institution. An assessment process is available for any player who is Home Schooled. All essays and questionnaires must be submitted no later than 10 days prior to the combine. Invitations will be sent to those selected. Any player not given a combine invite will be sent a letter stating the areas that need addressed, before re-submitting to a subsequent combine.

Following the invitation only combine, players are placed into a draft pool in preparation for the

MLBy DRAFT.

Once a player is drafted or signed by an MLBy team, they will have permanent membership in the league. Players can only be removed through resignation/retirement or because of violation of league rules and regulations. Any dismissal from the league must be approved by the Board of Directors and signed off on by the League President. In extreme circumstances the League President has the ability to place any player on administrative leave, while their case is pending a Board of Directors review process.

MLBy  sets the GOLD STANDARD for conduct and academic achievement amongst its players.
