All Division Winners receive an automatic playoff bid. Then they are seeded based on record and receive a first-round bye, as they await the winners from a seeded play-in tournament.

All remaining teams from a conference are seeded based on pre-determined criteria. After all the teams are seeded, they play in a single elimination play-in tournament. Following the play-in tournament teams are seeded again based on regular season records/criteria and advance to the Wildcard Round.

The Wildcard Round determines who will play in the Divisional Series and have an opportunity to play in the Regional Series.​

Winners from the Regional Series will play in the Conference Championship for the opportunity to face off in the inaugural MLBy San Gabriel Valley Championship!
