MLBy features a robust Free Agency Roster, allowing players and families the ability to utilize the IL. This system allows for longer seasons and gives families the flexibility needed to participate in the league.

Each team has a 15-player roster and a

5-player practice squad.

 

Practice squad players remain free agents and can be signed by any team in the league.

Players are allowed to go on the IL for family leave, sickness, or injury. The players team must submit the number of games the player will be on the IL prior to signing a Free Agent to fill in.

Free Agents who receive multiple offers can select the option of their choice.
